Midrash, is a Hebrew word meaning investigation, or study, it is from the root word “Rarash” which means, restore to, seek, seek with care, inquire, require. In these final hours that we are living in, we are to seek the truth no matter where it takes us, and expect God to move. When we seek His face and His righteousness we will be satisfied. In these final days He is about to pour out His Spirit on all who is open and willing to receive His touch!
I am a mother of three, and love the word of God, with probably one to many questions I ask the Lord daily. These are my bible studies, I pray those who take the time to read will be blessed. I want you to understand that God wants to reveal Himself to you more than you will ever know. That He is not willing or desires for anyone to perish but all to come to repentance. He is patient towards all of us, and sees the end from the beginning, He sees all of our ways, and understands from our point of view for He knows we are but flesh. As we study and pray we ask God to show us His ways, His point of view, for the scripture says in Deuteronomy 29:29 ” The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belongs to us and to our sons (and daughters) forever, that we may observe all the words of this law.” So yes He longs for us to dig deep into His word, for we all have questions and we all have eternity placed in our heart, the awareness of something more than what we see, hear, and touch. God has placed that awareness in you and I. Understand that we can search and seek other things in this world but nothing can satisfy that longing apart from God.
Shalom
